The one official route from a Short to the full video
It is called Related video, it appears under your channel handle, and it needs advanced feature access on the channel before it will show up at all.

The point of clipping a music video into Shorts is to send people to the music video. YouTube has exactly one documented feature for that, and it is easy to miss because it is added after upload rather than during.
Related video
YouTube's description: it lets you "add a related video after you upload your Short to help direct viewers to your other YouTube content" and "allows you to showcase your Videos, Shorts, and Live in the Shorts player". Viewers see a clickable link below your channel handle.
The three conditions
- Advanced feature access. YouTube states that "adding a related video is only available with advanced feature access". If your channel is not verified to that level, the option does not exist for you.
- The target must be public or unlisted and follow Community Guidelines.
- It is a post-upload step. YouTube Studio, then Content, then the Short, then Related video, then Save. Nothing in the upload flow prompts you.
If you are planning a run of clips around a release, sort the channel's advanced access out first. Uploading thirty Shorts and then discovering you cannot link any of them to the video is a bad week.
