What changed: beatBread announced Andreea Gleeson as chief executive officer (beatBread / PR Newswire, Sept. 10, 2026). The company’s PR says it has provided more than $100 million in advances across in excess of 2,000 deals and that those catalogues have generated 111 billion all-time streams (beatBread / PR Newswire, Sept. 10, 2026). The release also says beatBread secured $124 million in credit and equity capital last year (beatBread / PR Newswire, Sept. 10, 2026). Note: Music Business Worldwide reported an earlier figure of over 1,300 artists (Music Business Worldwide, Aug. 29, 2025).

Meanwhile Notes·fm has launched Notes Financial Accounts and a distribution product called Releases, using Stripe Connect and Stripe Treasury so royalties can be held, split and paid out to artists’ accounts; Releases distributes to Spotify and "50+ platforms" and combines credit administration so royalties flow back into Notes accounts (New Industry Focus, Sept. 10, 2026; Notes.fm).

“We are building the full path forward for musicians to release once, collect everywhere.” — Tim Luckow (quoted in New Industry Focus, Sept. 10, 2026)
